New Attitudes Classes
MadCAAP's Educational Program

Twice a year, MadCAAP offers a series of classes for women and men with children.  These classes cover a wide variety of topics designed to assist clients in moving their families out of poverty.  In 2010 over 400 individuals attended our "New Attitudes" classes.

By attending these classes, parents gain parenting skills, learn about health and nutrition and receive budgeting skills.  As a result of attending 12 hours of educational classes, these clients qualify their children to receive school supplies and uniforms and to be helped through our Holiday Adopt A Child Program.

Classes provide information that can help clients make better life choices while qualifying their children to receive uniforms and school supplies.  A speaker on Kidney disease encouraged clients to attend a free screening at Jackson Medical Mall & several client took advantage of this screening and 2 clients discovered that they have some serious concerns.  Making a difference is what it's all about!
